Quick start

Get started with LATU in five minutes: record a conversation, then get a transcript, SI Minutes, and action items. Every article in this guide comes with an interactive demo you can play, so you can learn by tapping through it once.

1. Download and install

On iPhone, download LATU from the App Store. On Android, download the installation package. Go to the Download page and scan the QR code with your phone or tap the button.

2. Sign in

Open LATU, check the box to agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, choose “Continue with email” or “Continue with phone” (on iPhone, you can also choose “Continue with Apple”), and enter the verification code. Your account is created automatically the first time you sign in, so there's no separate sign-up. To switch the app language, tap the small globe in the top-right corner of the sign-in page.

Step 1 of 9 · The globe at the top right of the sign-in screen switches the app language, even before you sign in.

The demo plays automatically. You can also tap the glowing spot on the phone, pick a step above, or use the left and right arrow keys.

See Signing in and your account.

3. Get to know the home screen

At the top of the home screen is the Miss S workbench (schedule and action items). In the middle are the filter bar and your recording cards, and the record button sits in the bottom-right corner. There are three tabs at the bottom: Recordings, SI Staff, and Profile. See The home screen.

4. Make your first recording

Tap the record button in the bottom-right corner of the home screen, then tap “Start Recording”. While recording, you can switch to the “Live transcript” tab to see the text, and tap the flag to mark important moments. When you're done, tap “Finish” and the recording uploads automatically.

Already have recorded audio? Tap “+” in the top-right corner of the home screen and choose “Import from Files”. See Recording on your phone and Importing and recovering audio.

5. View the transcript and SI Minutes

After uploading, LATU automatically transcribes the recording and generates SI Minutes, then sends you a message when it's done. Open the recording from the home screen:

  • “SI Minutes”: Attendees, meeting summary, chapters, decisions, and action items. Not happy with the result? Re-analyze it with a different template. Learn more
  • “Transcription”: The speaker and time of every sentence. Tap a sentence to play from that point. You can rename “Speaker 1” to a real name. Learn more
  • “Action items” in the bottom-right corner: Confirm the action items SI has pulled together, then add them to your schedule in one tap. Learn more

6. Share with colleagues

On the recording details page, tap “…” in the top-right corner and choose “Share link” to create a link. Others can view the minutes and transcript in a browser without installing LATU. You can also export a PDF or the audio. Learn more

7. Ask Miss S and dispatch work to SI staff

Tap the Miss S floating card on the home screen:

  • “01 Chat”: Ask things like “Summarize this week's to-dos” or “What was the last meeting about”. Miss S finds answers in your recordings and shows where they came from. Learn more
  • “02 Dispatch”: Hand a recording to the right SI staff member (meeting analysis, sales review, customer profile, and more), who analyzes it again using their own skills. Learn more

Have an AI recording card?
