The Profile tab and settings
Tap “Profile” at the bottom. From top to bottom, you'll find your account info, your usage, and four groups of settings: “Recording & organizing”, “Preferences & permissions”, “Account”, and “More settings”.
Account info and usage
- At the top are your avatar, nickname, user ID, and the email or phone number you sign in with. The button on the right syncs your account info again. When contacting support, give us your user ID so we can find your account.
- Current plan: Free plan, Basic plan, Pro plan, or Enterprise plan, with the percentage of this month's quota used on the right.
- Transcription quota this month: Your remaining minutes, plus used / total. Both transcription and imports deduct minutes based on recording length.
- Miss S credits: Deducted based on the tokens used when you chat with Miss S, so longer conversations use more.
Usage is view-only. If you need more quota, please contact us.
Recording & organizing
- Device settings: Bind and connect an AI recording card. See AI recording card. The right side shows whether a card is connected.
- Summary template: Choose which template new recordings use by default to generate SI Minutes. You can preview templates. See Set a default template.
- Record recording location: When it's on, your location is recorded once when you start recording (it appears below the title in the recording details). On the recording screen, you can skip it for a single recording (“Skipped this time”). When it's off, LATU won't ask for location permission.
Preferences & permissions
Display & language
Changes take effect immediately:
- Language: Follow system, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, or English. Transcripts and minutes follow the language spoken in the recording and don't change with the app language. The small globe in the top-right corner of the sign-in page controls the same setting.
- Theme: Follow system, Light, or Dark.
- Text size: Follow system, Small, Standard, Large, or Extra large.
ASR dictionary
ASR dictionary
Step 1 of 6 · On the Profile tab, scroll down and tap “ASR dictionary” under “Preferences & permissions”.
The demo plays automatically. You can also tap the glowing spot on the phone, pick a step above, or use the left and right arrow keys.
Add names, product names, and industry terms that are often recognized incorrectly, and both live captions and recording transcripts will prioritize these words:
- Type in “Add a word” and tap “Add” (or press Return).
- Tap “×” to remove words you don't need.
- Tap “Save” in the top-right corner. You'll see “Saved”.
You can add up to 500 words, each up to 32 characters. The dictionary applies only to future recordings; recordings that have already been transcribed aren't recognized again.
Quick login
“Face ID quick login” (face unlock or fingerprint on Android) applies only to this phone. See Quick login.
Account
- Email / Phone: Link or change them. See Link and change.
- Notifications: Messages about recording results, feedback replies, announcements, and more. See Notifications and announcements.
- Delete account: See Account deletion.
More settings
“More settings” is collapsed by default; tap the heading to expand it. When there's a new reply to your feedback or a recording that didn't finish uploading, a red dot appears next to the heading.
- Miss S connectors: Connect external tools such as Feishu. See Miss S connectors.
- Help Center: Open this user guide inside LATU. After you install LATU and sign in for the first time, you'll also see a one-time prompt about it.
- Feedback: See below.
- Recover unuploaded recordings: See Recover unuploaded recordings.
- Clear cache: Clears files left on your phone from exporting minutes and audio. Your recordings, minutes, and recordings not yet uploaded aren't affected.
- About LATU: The version number, “Check for updates”, “Version history”, the User Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and our contact email.
Feedback
In “Profile → More settings → Feedback”:
- Tap “Send feedback” and choose “Problem / Suggestion / Other”.
- Describe the issue (up to 2,000 characters). You can attach up to 3 screenshots (up to 2 MB each), and adding contact info is optional.
- After you submit, check the progress (Open / In progress / Resolved) in “My feedback”. Our replies appear here too, and a red dot shows when there's a new one. In the feedback details, you can “Add more details”; adding details to a resolved item reopens it.
Don't have LATU installed? You can also leave a message online on the Contact us page of our website.
Check for updates
- LATU checks for new versions when it starts and when it returns to the foreground. When a new version is available, you'll see “New version available” and can choose “Update now” or “Not now”. You're reminded only once per version.
- You can also tap “Check for updates” in “Profile → More settings → About LATU” to check manually, and “Version history” to see what changed in each version.
- If your version is too old and no longer supported, an “Update required” screen appears, and you'll need to update before you can keep using the app.
The iPhone release updates through the App Store, and the beta through TestFlight. You can also see what's new in each version in the Changelog.
